West Jakarta Administration began to collect the lower-income people's data in West Jakarta. It is aimed to obtain accurate data related to development programs that will be done.
West Jakarta Secretary, Muhammad Zen revealed the data collection is focused on people who live in riverbanks, such as Apuran, Mookevart, Semonggol, and Grogol.

Based on Jakarta Statistical Data (BPS), in 2008, the number of lower-income people in West Jakarta was 37,194 people. As for the 2009, the number dropped to 33,558 people, and increased 65,000 people.
"The data has not been done since 2010. That's why, we will collect the data until its number can be really valid," he expressed.
According to him, if the data is valid, it will become a database to giving the community welfare program.
"The data is very important in order to improve the people's welfare, such as financial aid, cheap rice distribution, etc," he finished.
